Shipping and delivery
Where we ship
Australia only, to any address Australia Post delivers to, including parcel lockers and PO boxes.
We are not set up for international orders. If you are overseas and want something badly enough to ask, write to us and we will tell you what it would cost — but treat that as an exception rather than a service.
What it costs
Shipping is not calculated at checkout. We work it out per order from the weight and the destination, and email you the total before anything is payable.
This is deliberate. Books vary enormously in weight, and a flat rate is either too much for a paperback or too little for an art book. Quoting each order means you pay what it actually costs to post.
Nothing is charged until you have seen the full amount and agreed to it. Placing an order costs you nothing and commits you to nothing.
How long it takes
Orders are dispatched within two working days of payment. Australia Post then usually takes:
- 2–6 working days within metropolitan areas
- longer to regional and remote addresses, sometimes considerably
Those are the carrier's timeframes and not a guarantee we can make on their behalf. If a parcel has not arrived within a week of the estimate, write to us and we will chase it.
Books ordered in for you
Some titles are not held in stock and are ordered from the publisher or distributor once you buy them. Where we know the lead time, it is shown on the book's page.
If a lead time slips, we will tell you as soon as we know, and you can wait or cancel for a full refund. We will not leave you guessing while a supplier decides.
Tracking
Your confirmation email contains a private link to your order. It shows the current status and updates as the order moves. Keep the email — the link is the only way back to that page, and we cannot send it again because we do not store it.
